Thea folded her arms and sighed as she waited around in the Merlyn Global lobby. Tommy had wanted to talk to her about something (no doubt about Oliver and his return), but he wasn't here. Why he chose here, she had no idea, but it sounded like it was just the closest location to him. He had said he'd be right there, but that was twenty minutes ago. It was looking like Tommy wasn't going to show up.
"You get two more minutes," she muttered.

Malcolm had just arrived at the Merlyn Global building. Another day's work lay before him, both legal and illegal, though he would take extra care so as to keep these things hidden. No one needed to know about his Undertaking just yet. Or about the dark costume and weapons that were hidden in a secret part of the building's top floors. As he entered the lobby, giving his customary greeting to the receptionist and other employees he passed. It was then that he noticed one Thea Queen, the daughter of one of his business associates, waiting in the lobby. No doubt she had been talked into meeting his son there, or had been sent there by her mother so as to pass a message or something.
He approached her slowly, hands in his pockets and a cordial smile on his face as he spoke in a warm tone. "Thea Queen. Do what does my company owe the pleasure that you would come down here? Surely you have more important things to do than stand around in my lobby."

When she heard someone addressing her, she turned, surprised to see that it was Malcolm. Granted, she wasn't sure who else would bother talking to her here unless it was someone who the family knew. "Mr. Merlyn," she said. She knew his first name, but it would have been rude to call him as such, "I was supposed to meet your son here, but he's late. Very late." No need to tell him why she was meeting Tommy.
