Carrie had spent weeks watching this drug ring. Not out of any real wish to stop it; she was staking it out. Waiting. She knew it had to happen eventually; a group this big, selling the amount and strength of drugs they do, with clients all over the Glades, had to attract the attention of Starling's famous vigilante, the Hood. The Arrow. She needed to meet him. She was finally ready. She had trained and trained, and she felt her bow skills were finally up to snuff. But just in case, she'd brought her pistol. She wore her outfit, painstakingly made to be as close to a replica of his outfit from the pictures she'd managed to find of him, but one detail; the heart decal, over her own. She waited.

Sure enough, they had finally gotten the attention of the Hood. He knew the name of one of them. Jon Barrett. Mid-level boss, reported upward to someone else, but he would do. Soon, in the group down below, the lights went out. And all hell was about to break loose.

Carrie's head snapped around. The lights were going out. THE LIGHTS WERE GOING OUT. OH MY GOD IT WAS FINALLY HAPPENING. She grabbed the face mask around her neck, pulling it up so it covered her nose and mouth (a hood didn't do too terribly much to conceal ones identity), and leapt down a fire escape, ready to get into the action when he appeared.

Arrow number one flies into one of the guards, dropping him. Arrow number two shoots over and locks down a bag, filled with money. Two more arrows take down other members of the gang as they scattered, before the Hood appeared in the lighted area, illuminated faintly. Arrow fitted to bow, pointed at the man. "Jon Barrett...you have failed this city!"

Carrie practically wet herself with excitement, until she saw another gang member, with a knife, sneaking up behind the Arrow. Not thinking for a second, she whipped out an arrow, nocked it, took a moment to aim, and fired, catching the man directly in the temple. She leapt off the fire escape, swinging into the building through the same window she'd shot the man through, and immediately dropped another guard with an arrow to the eye.

Having crossed off the man, he heard someone drop behind him, and turned around, arrow raised to his bow, watching as a strange person entered, shooting another guard. He whirls, giving an instinctive roundhouse kick to the final two that send them flying.

Carrie drew another arrow taut in her bow, looking around for any other gang members. Not seeing any, she relaxed, sliding the arrow back into her hip quiver, but keeping the bow in her grip. She fiddled at her throat a moment, making sure her voice changer was on.

The Hood knew his voice changer was on, and his voice roared in challenge across the warehouse. "Who are you and why did you help me?"

Carrie jumped a little. He was scary in person... She swallowed. "I'm a really big fan of yours. I figured you could use a hand. Certainly looked like it back there." She began approaching the Arrow slowly, hands held a little out to her sides. She didn't want to piss him off.

"A big fan?" He gave, slightly confused before shaking his head. "Thanks but you should hang it up. This isn't a game. And people can get hurt." About halfway to him, he holds up his hand. "That's far enough."

"I know it's not a game. I want to help. Really." Carrie stopped when he said so. "I'm okay with whatever it takes, whatever happens. I want to do this."

"Fine, if you're prepared to die at any time then I'm not going to stop you. Let's just get this very clear. Don't go after innocent people. Only those who deserve it. The criminals who have failed this city. Anyone else and I'll put an arrow in you."

Carrie nodded obediently. It was a dream come true. She'd finally get to fight alongside Starling's vigilante! It took all her willpower not to let her excitement show in her body language.

Satisfied that he'd made his point, the Hood turned around and began to leave the scene.
