Habits/ Quirks:
- Red X loves to hack computers and talk through them. When he does he turns the screens black expect for a (of course)a red X. He has an analog version of this calling card with an X on it. There is a QR Code on it visible only under a black light in case someone feels like contacting him.
- Refuses to kill
- Intentionally alerts the police to his location when taking out major criminals.
Relationships:
Overview: Little is known about Red X. He rarely speaks, and even then he only does it when absolutely necessary. He seems to have a good heart, doing whatever it takes to help people in need. He seems to have a particular affinity towards helping kids. He shows respect for police officers (even if they treat him as a criminal), making sure to hand over any criminals he defeats to them. Red X likes to work alone, claiming that “civilians” shouldn’t be playing vigilante.
Other Equipment:
- Quartermaster Suit 2.0: A high tech suit pilfered from the military facility that designed it. It was either heavily customized or the suit’s technology was pilfered and put into a new suit of armor. Either way, the suit has proved that it’s equipped with a voice changer, arm blades, knives (shaped like Xs), red handcuffs, limited bulletproofing, a limited independent air supply, a grappling hook in one wrist, and possibly a police scanner. If you listen closely, you can hear mechanical sounds inside the suit, but its unknown what this means.
- He has some kind of computer somewhere
- A black Honda racing bike. It has a glowing neon X on its cowl.
History
The Quartermaster system was developed for military use as an alternative to conventional military armor. It was designed to be used solely by black ops and Special Forces soldiers – until the prototype was stolen from the Kord Industries facility that produced it and original specifications were deleted from the hard drive they were stored on.
The moniker “Red X” first started popping up during an attempt to hack the Pentagon’s computer systems by what was later confirmed to be a Markovian spy. Just before he could steal all information of the nation’s black ops all screens in the building turned black, creating a wall of the Red X symbol in one room. This gave security enough time to apprehend the spy, and they refused to acknowledge anything related to “the Red X”.
Red X started showing up in person, dressed in the redesigned Quartermaster suit, and helping to clean up the streets of Starling. Who he is and if he’s alone is still currently unknown.
