Robbing a bank was old hat for the Sandman. It was surprising how a lot of that uptight security went away when the guards decided to take an involuntary nap, aided by sleeping gas, of course. The gas wooshed out of the canister, filling the now-open bank vault. Of course, this was just the first wave of security. No doubt there were more obstacles ahead of him.
The Sandman adjusted his hat as he calmly extracted one of the guards' security passes, swiping it across a black panel next to an even more sturdy-looking metal door. There was a dull clanking on the other side of the door as the locking mechanism yielded to the security pass. Taking hold of the door, the Sandman pulled, and the door opened, revealing many a pile of dollar bills.
Reaching into the folds of his coat, he withdrew a brown bag and began to slide piles of money into it. Once he got this stored in his account, he'd be able to pay for more treatment, and maybe, just maybe, he'd have a good night's sleep again.

Red X was thankful for the oxygen mask right now. Chemical weapons, why did he have to have chemical weapons? He walked up to the guards and felt for his pulse with one hand. Alive, just asleep. Red X noticed that one of the guard's badges was gone. Theft, nothing violent.
Red X made his way over to the vault, flicking one of his blades out.

The bag was starting to get heavy. It seemed like he had enough money for now. Shame he only brought one bag. With money like this, he could probably do a lot more for himself. Still, he had what he came for, and that was good enough for now.
The sounds of movement from outside drew the Sandman's attention. He surreptitiously reached into the folds of his coat, searching for his non-gas gun.

Red X cautiously moved over to lip of the vault. His right arm's blade was out as he prepared to go in.
He entered the vault in one movement, ready for anything.

With his hand confidently on the handle of his gun, the Sandman aimed cautiously towards the vault entrance, finding himself facing a person with red crosses all over a powerful-looking suit.
Either this was some kind of rival thief, or the police in Starling were just really weird.

"Put down your weapon" Red X said, his voice distorted and pitch shifted. He kept his arm blade at the ready.

"Hey, that's cool." Wesley said cautiously, his own voice muffled by the gas mask. "No problem. No problem at all." He carefully placed the gun on the ground and stood up. He still had a trick or two up his sleeve.

X lowered his blade, approaching him to grab his gun.

Acting impulsively, Wesley swung the bag of money upwards violently, intending it to connect with Red X's head.

Red X quickly blocked the bag, extending both of his arm blades shortly after. The bag ripped and the money began to fall to the floor.

"Aw, come on!" The Sandman cried in despair. "That was my good bag!"

"What did you dose the guards with?" Red X asked.

"Sleeping gas." The Sandman shrugged. "They'll live."

"Where did you get it?" Red X asked. "Weapons dealers? Military contractors?"

"I make it myself." The Sandman said, drawing his gas gun with the speed of a speedy thing. "Here's a free sample for you." he added, firing.
