Thea crouched down and picked up a decent sized rock. She figured he wouldn't put much stock into her doing any damage with it, and she didn't think it would do much, or anything, but she had to do something. She picked it up and threw it as hard as she could at his face, hoping her aim was still good.

Amazingly the rock hit the man square in the face, releasing his hold on Rose, allowing her the perfect opportunity to elbow him in the gut and roundhouse kick in the side, all culminating in him falling flat on his back - defeated.
"Thanks for the compliment," she said before spitting on his face.

Thea stood there and watched for a moment, "Where did you lean how to do stuff like that?" Thea asked Rose, in a bit of awe over what the other girl had been able to pull off.

She shrugged, "From my dad. He was a cop. Wanted me to know how to defend myself, nothing to it really."

She thought that seemed like more than a cop could teach, but she didn't push it. She really didn't know what to say to that anyway, and didn't want to offend her, especially knowing that she could kick Thea's ass...

Thea nodded, "Well, glad to hear that. I don't like that look though," she told Rose, regarding her grin. She wasn't sure how much of Rose to trust, but she'd give her some benefit for now, since she did save Thea, after all.

"I can't help how I look, I was born this way," said Rose as the two made haste. Out of the corner of her eye she saw the two men laying there unconscious and the fire in the distance.
