Rose sighed zipping up her jeans, "Fine, I won't do that. Happy?"
She picked up her shirt and gave it a quick whiff. It's been awhile since she visited the laundry mat.
"I wasn't going to anyhow. I know when too far is too far."
Or at least she claimed she did.

"For some reason I don't believe that," she said, finally letting the blanket drop as soon as she had pants and a shirt on. She turned to look at Rose, "Why are you here, anyway? Is this about the other night or something?"

She shrugged, "I had nothing better to do to be honest."
After her shirt came her shoes and then she was done. She kicked the shoes into place and thought she might go for a run later.
"And aren't we friends now? Isn't hanging out at each others houses what friends do?"

"Crawling into my bed isn't what friends do, though," Thea told her. She crossed her arms, still annoyed by that, and especially at the image her mother saw. She was going to try to explain that one away later, but she wasn't sure if her mother would believe her.

"What do friends do then?" she asked, "To be honest, I haven't really had many friends myself."
"My dad was in the army," she then remembered the previous lie about her dad and worked that back in, "Before he become a police officer of course. We moved around a lot."

"Well, they don't climb into each other's beds like that." She wasn't going to let that one go. She had enough explaining and awkwardness with her mother as it was, she didn't need to add to that with what Rose had done.

"Fine," she sighed, "I won't do it again, I promise. Now i'll go find your home and set things right, if it means you'll get off my back."
She walked towards the door and opened it, peering out.
"You coming? Your house is freakin' big, I'll probably get lost."

"Yeah, I'm coming...," Thea told her, walking to the door. She just started to hope even more that Rose wasn't going to screw this up. She lead Rose through the mansion, looking for her mother.

Moira was sitting in the kitchen, pretending to look interested in the paper while sipping her morning coffee. It was technically afternoon, but when you're a wealthy widow anytime is morning if you felt like it.

Thea stood in the doorway and directed her arm out to Rose, signalling for her to go and start explaining. She did have a nagging feeling that she was going to screw this up, but she had to trust her.

Moira looked up almost immediately when she heard shuffling in the doorway and saw that Thea and Rose arrived.
"Hello girls, finished?"
Rose walked past Thea and took a seat across from Moira.
"Making yourself right at home I see."
Rose took a deep breath and said, "Sorry you had to see that, Mrs. Queen. Your daughter and I aren't in any sort of physical relationship or anything like that. I was just messing with her, trying to get her lazy butt out of bed."
"You were?"
Rose nodded, trying her best to look ashamed of herself, even though she really wasn't
"I see.." Moira looked dead serious for a moment but eventually busted out into a fit of laughter. Rose joined right in.

Thea reached up and rubbed her eyes a little before she just turned and shook her head. She walked out of the room. With luck they wouldn't notice she'd left and she could go find somewhere in the big mansion to just go and avoid them at.

Rose quickly caught up with her, "Where you running off to?"
Thea didn't seem to be in bad shape, but there was no way she was going to escape Rose that easily.

She turned to Rose, "I'm just not overly interested in hearing that played off as a joke. I mean, it was, but it's also still disturbing to me." she explained.

Rose shrugged, "Your mom is cool with it, why can't you be? You act like nobody's ever played a prank or messed with you before. Little Miss Queen too good for jokes?"
