He followed after his friend, looking around, curious about just what was so important here.

"My father and I survived the boat sinking." Oliver said, getting to the point. "Before he died, he told me the truth about him. He'd done many...many wrongs. Hurt many people. He failed this city. With dying breath he implored me to survive and right his wrongs. He sacrificed himself to make sure I survived. On the island I was beaten and tortured by a mercenary group, and was saved by some unlikely friends. Friends that I owe my life to." He pauses here, but has more to say.

He stopped. Was Oliver serious? Was...was he actually being serious right now? "A mercenary group? Tortured? Friends on the island? Oliver, are you being serious right now? I mean, I don't want to doubt you, or call you crazy, but...but are you sure this happened?" Perhaps he'd just gone crazy on the island? That was, well, very possible...

"You're seeing the real me right now. I'm deadly serious." Oliver gave, looking at him.

"And why are you telling me this then, if it's the truth?" he questioned. He still wasn't sure if it was the truth or not, but wanted to ask and be sure.

"Because, this proves I'm telling the truth." Oliver opens up his undershirt enough so that you can see some of the scars on his body. "And..I feel like that perhaps I can trust you with details of my ... mission."

Tommy looked at the wounds on his body, "Some of those are blades...stabs...," he looked up at Oliver's face, "Ok then...just what are you talking about?"

He produces a book, and hands it to him. "My father's list. Of people who hurt this city with their corruption and greed. Who failed it as he had, who stepped on the backs of others to achieve personal wealth. Of people who are out of reach of the law. I'm going to right my father's wrongs, and cure the disease that is poisoning my city." He keeps a careful eye on Tommy, before starting to lead the way to the door after getting the book back.

"And how do you intend to do that Oliver?" he questioned. He paged through the book but didn't pay much attention to it before setting it aside, "Do you plan on waging a one-man war against all of these people, or something?" This was sounding ridiculous. Maybe his time on the island did get to his head.

He turns, beckoning Tommy to come to a door. It looks like any other door, but a couple of quick motions, and inputting the keypad, which was obscured from Tommy's view, opened the door. "Come here and I'll answer this question."

Tommy didn't say a word. He wanted to know what Oliver was getting at. The mere fact there was a panel here meant that Oliver had been here already and that he'd already started something. That made him seem more sane than he was before, but still it unnerved Tommy a bit.

He opens the door, and leads the man down into the Quiver. The two flight long staircase. He approaches, flipping a switch on the generator and the entire place roars to life. "Y'know that Hood guy on the news? He's here to deal with those who have failed this city. And right now? You're talking to him."

"You?" he questioned, backing away a little, then he shook his head, "You...you saved that police officer. I...I could never have imagined you'd be this sort of person, but...but you saved a life. And...," he shook his head. He couldn't believe he was having this conversation, "You saved a life. That's what matters."

"Marigold Jadis didn't deserve what happened to her. She had little support from the police department while trying to do the right thing and catch the Starling City Ripper. He repaid her evilly for it. Who knows how many others he kidnapped and tied up, and sadistically tortured?" He shook his head. "To answer your question from earlier? Yes. I'm going to do something about it." He picks up the bow, flourishing it just a little. "And I'm making you an offer to join me."

Tommy looked down. Was...was this for real? He looked at his friend, seeing their past as easygoing party guys who chased women, drank and just had fun. Now things were getting serious, life was getting real. Oliver wanted to save lives, and Tommy...he had wanted to do charity and the like, because of Laurel, but this...
"Just...just don't make me dress up and shoot a bow and arrow," he joked with a weak smile.
