He lost his grip and she tried to move back but it didn't quite work as planned. Now he had a knife at her throat. Great. Knife at throat. Gun out of reach. Guy was skilled as all hell with knives. But it was alright. Remember, stall for time. Stall for time.
"This is not going to end well for you. This isn't planned and cops know what's going on. You slit my throat and you won't get away with it." Cops know what's going on...Yeah right. Some were corrupt. Or rather most of them were. Had enough money and they were bought off. She was still trying to determine who was in whose pocket. And she hadn't exactly given them all the details yet. But she'd called for back up. Surely if 'Alex' did anything stupid they could piece it together. It really sucked not knowing which cops to trust.

"I'm not stupid. I won't kill you, only make sure you can't follow me." Guillermo grabbed her by the front of her jacket and hauled her to her feet, keeping the knife to her throat. He pushed her slightly. "Walk."

She was roughly hauled to her feet and ordered to walk. Maybe she was stupid. But like he said he couldn't kill her. "And if I don't you'll do what?" she demanded.

Guillermo placed the knife to her neck and nicked her. It wasn't near any veins, so it wouldn't bleed, but it was on a nerve, so it would hurt like none other. "That. Now walk."

She bit her tongue to try and keep from crying out. It hurt like hell. Okay..Walking..Best idea. But...Stalling...She needed to buy more time. It was just a little...pain. A lot of pain. All the pain.
"No," she choked out. She just needed to be patient. He couldn't kill her and others were coming.

Guillermo sighed. He grabbed her by the hair and began dragging her, into one of the storage units nearby. He grabbed an old chair someone had left in the unit and pulled it out, shoving her down into it. "Stay." He commanded, walking to grab something.

She resisted him as best she could while he dragged her which wasn't easy given the pain and that he stronger but time was her friend. She needed to drag this out. He pushed her into a chair. But he was an idiot if he actually believed she would stay put. She searched the room for any sharp object she could conceivably use as a weapon. She was fortunate to find a crowbar propped behind something. She was hardly experienced with wielding it but it had to be better than nothing. And it was definitely sharp.

"I absolutely loath it, but it gets the job done." Guillermo said, walking in holding Marigold's gun. He absolutely hated the things- they ended it too quickly. But the gun was the superior weapon, and people tended to get far more scared of guns than knives. Besides, he'd be hardly effective, since he still needed a free hand, and his other hand was occupied by a roll of silver tape.

Guns certainly got the job done. At least they did if you shot before things spiraled out of control like this! She clutched the crowbar tighter.
"There's only blanks in it," she lied. "Why do you think I didn't shoot?" He was NOT taping her to a chair.

"I don't believe you. No cop carries blanks in their gun, especially when going to meet a potentially violent perp." Guillermo had checked anyway. "Now put the crowbar down and sit. I could do far worse, trust me."

"Detective," she corrected. Not like he cared. Technically she worked for the police but she still considered her job different. And yeah his logic was sound. She was screwed the moment she'd lost her gun. He couldn't kill her but he could shoot a non-lethal target. It would hurt like hell. She'd need to be operated on. There could be a ton of blood loss. There wasn't much point in resisting. It still wasn't in his interest to kill her.
She made a move like she was about to lower the crowbar but instead she hurled it at him with all her strength. Not waiting to see if it connected, she leaped towards him. If she could knock the gun out of his hands in the distraction this situation was salvageable. Well..She had to try didn't she? If he escaped how many more people would wind up dead?

Guillermo used the gun to knock the crowbar away, throwing Marigold's gun away. She had relinquished her own weapon, which gave Guillermo the advantage again. He pulled his Bowie knife back out, and moved to plant a kick into Marigold's stomach.

Her weapon was gone but at least he'd abandoned the gun as well. That made her feel slightly better. She managed to jump back before he could kick her, speed being the one thing she still had going for her. But she was unarmed and the gun was still out of reach.
Right then...Her eyes darted frantically around the room, trying to search for something, anything close that she could use as a weapon. She was looking pretty screwed.

Guillermo simply rushed her again, launching into a flying tackle. He couldn't hurt her, but he needed to get out before any of her cop friends could arrive.

Close quarters combat like this did not favor Marigold. There wasn't much room to maneuver and 'Alex' definitely had more strength. He managed to knock her to the ground but she immediately started kicking and thrashing, trying to get him to relinquish his hold. Stall for time. Stall for time. Stall for time.
