Thea actually laughed a little. It was a genuine laugh, and probably one she should have tried to hold in, "I'm a Queen. I don't have to worry about that stuff." And that was true; Oliver hadn't needed to worry either. He was able to go through life and do what he wanted, no matter how his record looked. The power of money and a name.

Marigold wasn't offended and actually laughed too. "Right, sorry. Different background. You probably don't need to worry about that at all. Still, it's a good habit to get into, being less careless." And what incentive did Thea have for that? Marigold just didn't want her to end up a drunk, wasting her life away in a bottle. Rich people had a tendency to party too hard for their own good.

"I'm just careful enough to be fine," she told Marigold. That was more or less true. She did stupid things, but she made sure to keep it from destroying her life or making stupid mistakes that she'd regret later. So far, so good.

"If you're not come to me. I'm not SCPD all the time. And I stupidly worry about far too many things." Really she had enough on her plate. Why was she even bothering? But she couldn't help it. She was worried about Thea. Marigold wasn't ensure exactly what it was that made her so concerned but she felt that the girl needed some sort of help she wasn't getting. What it was and if Marigold could give it...She didn't have a clue. But better to try and fail then bury your head in the sand and pretend there wasn't a problem, right?

For some reason, Thea nodded, "Ok. I will." She probably wouldn't, but she didn't think she'd ever need to. But on the plus side, this woman was rather nice to her, and well, probably the nicest cop she'd met. Some of them were real bastards, but this one was good.

Marigold chuckled. "You know, you really remind me of my little sister." She'd never been too concerned with the details. She'd been the sort to just live in the moment and assume everything would be okay. Marigold very much doubted Thea would be seeking her out anytime soon. Still, she wanted to help. And she knew if she was too preachy she'd ruin those odds.

Thea didn't have anything to say in response to that. She just sighed, "Can I go?" she asked Marigold, figuring it was better to actually ask instead of just walking out on her. She figured that might go very badly if she tried.

She nodded her head. "No point in saying stay out of trouble. But try not to get into too much. And if you're stuck look me up." Marigold had tried to help. The rest would be up to Thea. If people were determined to be self destructive, they'd hurt themselves and there was nothing anyone else could do about it.

As much as Thea was annoyed by her, she kind of liked her. She was decent, and seemed to get it. To an extent, at least. Thea gave her a single nod and hurried after her friends. She'd figure out what to do next. Money could probably get her into a club, and then probably get her drinks too without an ID. She'd figure it out.

Marigold watched Thea leave. She hoped the girl would be alright but she'd done what she could and she had other things to worry about. She hurried finished her drink before heading out. Marigold had other work to do.
